Leigh Trance and Linda Callan met in 2019 as co-workers at an established destination management company, with Leigh in National Sales and Linda in Sales and Operations. During that time, they developed mutual respect and insight into each other’s work styles and talents and, when the events industry came to an abrupt halt in 2020, they saw an opportunity to create something of their own. Drawing on their expertise, they adapted quickly and navigated challenges with determination and innovation. With the support of incredible, loyal clients, they launched their most personal and meaningful venture to date: Latus Events.
 

The name “Latus” is inspired by the word lattice, which conveys ideas of framework, connection, and structure. It reflects a belief in building strong foundations through collaboration and growth from the ground up. At its core, Latus is about forging meaningful relationships, nurturing shared inspiration, and creating moments that spark collective creativity.
